  • To Our Loyal Clients,
It has now been officially mandated by Governor Murphy and the state of New Jersey that all hair salons, nail salons, barber shops, and tattoo parlors must close by tonight. We are hopeful that we will be able to reopen as planned on Monday, April 6th.

We appreciate everyone’s support and we will all get through this. Our website, Facebook page, and phone answering system will be updated to provide the latest info to everyone.
Thank you all again for your understanding and support. We hope to see you in a few weeks! Stay safe and stay healthy.
From,
The staff and management at Tranquility Salon and Spa
  • To Our Wonderful Clients,

Obviously, this is a challenging and worrying time for all of us at the salon, our towns, state, and country. The state of NJ announced yesterday that, besides the already announced school closures for a month, restaurants, bars, gyms, casinos, etc. will be closed. We called the governor’s office and specifically asked on guidance for salons and spas and they said salons are not mandated to close as a client/service provider can reasonably discuss any risk factors prior to service.

We don’t rush to judgment with respect to potential actions any business can or should take as we are responsible for many staff and many clients. Since we opened almost 20 years ago, we have always tried to treat our staff and clients like family and we will continue to do so. Some of our staff are worried and some of our staff still want to work. Some of our clients are worried and some are looking forward to visit. Our staff/clients have complete freedom to choose what they would like to do.

Also factoring in to our decision making is the responsibility we have to some of our staff for continuing to provide healthcare, benefits, and the additional government and state regulations we have to follow because of our size and multiple locations. After much reflection, we have decided to remain open for the rest of this week through Sat Mar 21st subject to further developments and then close for two weeks and continue to monitor developments. Our tentative date to reopen will be Monday April 6th.

For this week, our hours will be 10 – 5 (Sat 9 - 4). We will contact you to let you know if your service provider is scheduled for this week. We appreciate everyone’s support and we will all get through this. Our website, Facebook page, and phone answering system will be updated to provide the latest info to everyone.

Thank you all again for your understanding and support . Stay safe and stay healthy.

From,
The staff and management at Tranquility Salon and Spa
